discount not correctly calculate

it was second item half price. i have bought about 40 hoddies which is around 15pounds each and 40 t shirts which is arround 9 pounds. all the discounts apply to the t shirt, i think in normal consumers expectation. 20 of the hoodies will be half price and 20 of t shirt will be half price. but instead they charged 40 hoddies full price, and 40 t shirts half price. which make a big difference in the price. i have complain this to the customer service. not helpful at all, didn't solve any problem. especially the supervisor sounds not very nice, makes me very unhappy.
