Why do they not automatically cancel payments when people reach 75?
Complaint against TV Licensing
Having reached the age of 75 in December 2015 & qualifying for a free TV licence, we were told that it was our responsibility to inform them of this fact. Having spent just about an hour & a half on their website, being sent in circles only to arrive back at the original page I started at I gave up. It would appear to be a deliberate ploy by this department to abrogate their responsibility and to also avoid paying refunds due.
