Complaint against Go Assist

I requested an engineer on the 22nd of May, the girl on the phone took £219 out of my account, then set me up with Big Warranties to pay £26.65 , then payments with this company thereafter, although I don’t remember being told it was this amount!! I received a text saying the job had been cancelled, no mention of a refund, I had anyway decided to call Go Assist and cancel. I rang them on the 23rd and about refund, was told 3-5 working days, I am still waiting for my refund and it’s now 16th June!! I called yet again yesterday, took 20mins to get through and when I did the young man on he phone pretending he couldn’t hear me and put the phone down, disgusting! I then rang back got young man who I think was the one who had done this, I told him and he never said a word, no apology nothing! I went on to tell him I’m still waiting for my refund, I’d call Tuesday 12th June and was told it was being dealt with but still no refund. He said someone would call me within 24hrs, obviously they didn’t. I did ask to speak to his manager, but amazingly no manager was in. I think waiting 3weeks for a refund is totally out of order especially when their quick enough to take your money! Oh big warranties I’ve lost that money, Even though Go Assist cancel the job first! I would totally avoid this company. I’m still waiting for my £219!, the staff are very unhelpful. I will see if anyone calls me Monday, although it’s my money I want back!
