Go Assist - no repair despite additional charges

Complaint against Go Assist

I entered into a policy with go-assist for a microwave repair. At every stage I had to chase them up to arrange the visits and assessments. They informed me that a repair was possible and asked for additional funds. When the engineer arrived to conduct the repair he assessed that it could not be made to work and carried out no repair. Go assist have refused to return the costs despite charging for additional activity and ultimately carrying out no repairs at all. The customer service throughout has been appalling with me having to chase them at every stage to arrange visits and receive updates. This would have been cause for complaint if they had fixed the appliance, with no repair completed at all it is simply outrageous. I would advise that nobody use this company - despite their assessment that a repair was possible it is literally throwing money away.
