Complaint against Go Assist
I contacted this company to carry out repairs to our Tumble Drier on the 1st of the 7th 2017. I made this decision after listening to the very impressive sale talk of one of their operatives. A repair engineer arrived very quickly on the 4th July and assessed the situation, leaving with an estimated return of 1 week having first obtained the spare parts. Now here I am 7 weeks later and no further forward. I have spent literally hours on the phone to both Go-Assist and Whirlpool and all I have to show for it is approximately 7 projected delivery dates all of which were for a Friday and all have now expired. The latest projected date is for a fortnight hence and I have very little confidence in this being fulfilled. Whenever I contact the service department, they promise faithfully that they will moniter my situation and get back to me within 12 to 24 hours, (another delaying tactic) however, they never do ring me back. There is no way out of their contract without forfeiting the fee they took in advance. Very disappointed at this kind of service or lack of it and it is unacceptable.
