Complaint against Petite Cherry
Petite Cherry Lingerie looks a reasonably respectable company with a flashy web site. I ordered some items for my wife’s Christmas present on 20th November worth £156.12. I received a confirming email and order number stating: “We’ve received your order and have started working on it. Once your parcel is on its way, we’ll send you another email with shipping details.” My Barclaycard statement records show the transaction on that same day, the 20th November, so I assume that the money has been paid to the company. Today is the 22nd December and still nothing has arrived. OK, I realise that the company is based in China, but that is not unusual these days. I can accept a delay if there is good reason. What I can’t accept is that the company does not respond to any emails from me. I have sent emails on the 10th, 19th and 20th December enquiring about the progress with my order. Each time I get an automated reply promising to respond to my enquiry within 24 hours, but then I get no substantial reply. It is very frustrating because I have no way of communicating with the company other than through email. My impression is that Petite Cherry is a reputable company rather than some sort of fraudulent organisation. However, there is clearly a problem with my order and they are very clearly failing to respond to my concerns. If I just sit back and hope that eventually my order arrives, I fear that I will just find myself waiting indefinitely and I’ll be out of pocket. I’d be grateful for any help or advice that you can provide.
