Complaint against Yodel
I booked Yodel to collect a brand new VAX carpet washer (retail price £400). When delivery failed to take place I contact the online chat to be told to sit tight, there was a problem with their scanners. That was almost three weeks ago. Since then, they have been pushing me to complete a claim form which supposedly elevates the investigation although another Yodel representative said it closes the matter. Online chat has proved utterly useless. The parcel is enormous, not some innocuous package but a giant orange box. It seems as though company policy is to auction off said "lost items" to staff. Personally, I think it has been stolen. It's not as though there are any repercussions, only me, left £400 out of pocket. Yodel says I had the option to insure it but chose not to!!!
