Charles's complaint against Amateur Swimming Association

ASA Defrauding Swimming Clubs and Coaches

Complaint against Amateur Swimming Association

The ASA runs a so-called arbitration system that it claims is part of its Displinary proceedures. However, it does not meet the requirements of the Arbitration Act 1996 from which it cliams it gains its jusridiction. The ASA finds against Clubs and Coaches and impose financial penalties on them which are illegal. Its legal department bullies and harrasses the subjects of this process by threatening them with suspension in trying to collect "fines". Some swimming coaches may be losing their jobs as a result and it is causing many financial difficulties for Clubs who must pay substantial legal costs for respresentation against these claims. The methods used may be in breach of The Fraud Act 2006.
