Complaint against 247 Home Rescue
After 247's engineer advised me that my boiler needed a new thermostat ...which they said was not covered by my service agreement and would cost me £110 to replace....when 2AA batteries was all that was in fact needed, I wrote to 247 cancelling my contract and advising them NOT to attempt to withdraw money from my bank account. I then contacted my bank asking them not to accept any request for money from 247......and surprise, surprise my bank contacted me shortly afterwards to let me know that 247 had, as anticipated, submitted a direct debit request!!! (Thank you to another ex-customer of 247 who had posted a review warning others that this had happened to them.)
