[LAPSED] Continuing to take money after poilcy cancelled

Complaint against 247 Home Rescue

Having cancelled my policy within the 14 day cooling off period in October, and having received a confirmatory email, 247 home rescue are continuing to take direct debit payments. I will be seeking legal advice

Beware! This company is well able to re-instate cancelled Direct Debits without your knowledge or permission. They have done this to me three times, in one case about three months after I cancelled it. Another nasty trick that this company uses is to "manipulate" reviews on websites such as TrustPilot by soliciting positive reviews and taking down negative reviews. Beware!!!
