Complaint against 247 Home Rescue
I had a home appliance and boiler care agreement with 24/7 and all was fine till I needed a repair done in my rented property. The tenant informed me that the washing machine was not working and had stopped mid cycle with clothes in it. I said no problem we have coverage, gave him the agreement number and details so that he could arrange time for the engineer to come round etc.. Engineer duly arrived and diagnosed a fault but did not have the part. Ordered the part and said when its in they will be back..... A week later he returns with new part and fitted it.. did not work, now diagnosed as another fault - part on order. After two weeks I phone 24/7 to ask about progress and they say they are waiting on the engineer getting back ... to cut a long story short, we waited 6 WEEKS without a washing machine with no resolution or any callback from them despite requesting on 4 occasions for a manager callback. I raised a complaint and only received an acknowledgement on its receipt. Duly cancelled contract and purchased new item which was delivered and installed within 36 hours.
