Complaint against 247 Home Rescue
Two years back we have choosen 24 7 rescue as landlord cover for our house. After a year we had a boiler failure. 24 7 was contacted who then sent some local contactors to do the job. However, they were unable to fix the boiler. But they have managed to smash the glass door of oven. When we complaint to 247 they have said that we have to cotact the contractors which they have arranged in first place. Anyhow, when we have contacted the contractor to fix the oven door they have said it was very old and therefore we would not do it. Now the boiler is not fixed. 24 7 asked us to pay them £350 do they can get it fixed. We have paid them up front the amount. Guess what they have claimed that it was fixed but after a week we have found that the boiler was not working. We didn’t bother to ask 24 7 to fix it. We have just cancelled the policy. But after 5 months of cancellation they have setup a direct debit of £28 with out our concern. When cotact then they said because we have made claim hence they will be charging us. I would like to take this to further. I want to know who can help us. I am ready to pay any fees to a solicitor or someone who can take a action against this company.
