Complaint against 247 Home Rescue
The company refuse to engage in my complaint for a missold car breakdown policy. I have never received any policy document, renewal notice in any format related to this. I thought the second monthly direct debit was related to my boiler service plan. When I complained that the company had increased both direct debits without prior notification (outside of the T&C's of the contract), I was informed the second direct debit was for car breakdown. I purchased my car from new registration, it is only 2 years old and includes car breakdown; I have not agreed to a second and unnecessary policy? I have no record of this policy and the company inform me that my complaint is closed. I have emailed to ask for their appeals/escalation policy but no response. Terrible company and service that is not registered with any financial conduct authority. This is the same principle as PPI scandal.
