Complaint against 247 Home Rescue

Took out an insurance contract for boiler, central heating, pipes, etc with 24/7 in in January. Asked for a service to be carried out to my boiler recently - before the normal time of approximately 8/10 months into the contract. Paid the £60 upfront to arrange this. No problems with my boiler before the service, all working perfectly. The engineer came out, I left him in the kitchen to carry out the service, about 10 mins into the service the engineer calls me into the kitchen and says/shows me there is a significant leak in the pipe taking the condensation away from the boiler, so put on the report to replace this. When I spoke to 24/7 to arrange the remedial works, I'm told this isn't covered under the contract as the fault was found during the service and it would cost me between £300 and £500 to sort out!!!! Also funny how this hasn't happened since he left the property!! My argument is that if this was a problem previous to the service I would have called for a breakdown repair not a service!! Now, 24/7 are saying that I can't cancel the policy!!! DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, FIND A REPUTABLE COMPANY and one that won't try to rip you off!!
