You're far better off using local providers

Complaint against 247 Home Rescue

Booked my 'free' annual boiler service which I paid £60 for + £30 for an Inhibitor. Once I paid it then took 2 weeks for them to sort a date. I took a day off work as holiday because all you're told is that the engineer will arrive between 8:30-17:00. At 10:00 I had a call to say the engineer couldn't make it and that they would have to arrange an alternative date. To rearrange or to speak to someone in customer service I was on hold for over 40 minutes. It doesn't leave me with much hope that in an emergency these guys will be able to help. I've now used a days holiday for no reason. You're far better off just using a local provider who in most cases will offer emergency help anyway. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - I'M ATTEMPTING TO GET MY POLICY REFUNDED AND CANCELLED.
