Complaint against Household Professionals
In September 2014 our washing machine leak was misdiagnosed by a Household Professionals engineer. The website says no call-out charge but we had to give debit card details. He said the sump hose and door seal needed replacing but didn't carry spares. They were going to send us a price for completing the repair. It didn't arrive, despite requests. We got someone else in to repair it - different part needed, fitted then and there, machine fixed. We were charged the full amount (£82.80) for the visit by the engineer with insufficient skills from Household Professionals. We've tried several times to resolve this with the company by email and on the phone - they do not respond.
