Complaint against Madame Tussauds London
On the 14th February I purchased 2 passes for Madame Tussauds and SEALIFE Aquarium London for the 15th February. We booked our time slot for 11:30am - 11:45am which we were under the impression meant that we would definitely be getting into the attraction around this time, which cost £45 pounds each. When we arrived at Madame Tussauds at 11:15am the queue was past the 3 hour point and people had been waiting since the venue had opened at 9:00 to get in. We asked the people working there if there was any way to get in sooner as we had two people in our party who were doing the snorkeling with sharks at 3:30 pm and you have to be there half an hour early, (to which they said there was no way and we had to queue with everyone else) which would have meant we would have been late if we had queued, and as this had been paid for (£130 each) we were not prepared to wait well over three hours. This meant that the money we spent on Madame Tussauds was wasted, we are very disappointed as it was the main reason we stayed overnight in London coming all the way from Suffolk and would have booked the snorkeling for the 14th instead.
