Complaint against British Airways
Our BA flight to Croatia on 17th July 2015 BA 2678 was booked through Opodo and £33 was paid for one piece of hold luggage, this was confirmed at the time of booking and our luggage allowance was confirmed again three days prior to our departure. At check in we were informed no hold luggage had been booked, our email evidence was dismissed, we were told that there have been problems with Opodo bookings before but we would have to take this up with Opodo. We had to pay £40 for our hold luggage or we could not board the plane. To add insult to injury £40 is the on the day fee and it would have been £30 in advance. The BA staff were unsympathetic and somewhat Conde ending in their manner. Surely there would be more possibility of resolving any problem if the might of a company took this on as a mere individual I am getting the run around from both companies and they have lost my trust.
