[RESOLVED] - They took my money and my phone and have returned neither, worst customer service in the world

Complaint against Fone Angels

First sent my phone to Fone Angels on 7th November. Within 3 days they wrote to me confirming receipt of the phone and then another email asking for more money claiming that the LCD was broken under the glass and needed £85 more to fix this. I reluctantly agreed to this as i was sure it was fine and niaively sent even more money. Weeks went by and i heard nothing. I started emailing them asking what was going on and got eventually got replys saying they were sorry and were having trouble with their parts supplier who couldnt get them a screen for a samsung S5 ???...seems very strange as supposely "Fone Angels is the UK’s leading mobile phone and tablet repair specialists". I have since emailed half a dozen times since then asking what is going on. On two different occasions i was told sorry for the delay we are now going to escalte your repair to our premiere express service. I dont know how that works? if it is was already susposedly escalated the first time why did they say they would do it the second time ?? anyway their website says priority service is a max 7 days so that was fingers crossed. But alas.... of course nothing! in fact when it didnt turn up as promised all i got was more excuses. Ive had all sorts of excuses and honestly feel like im never going to see my phone again. On 15/12/15 i got an email from them promising the repair was being done and they would return my phone by priorty post by the latest 18/19th Decmeber. However, on the 19th they emailed to say repair now done but phone now has to go to their testing and quality assurance team now before being before posted. However a week later still no phone. I emailed again, unhappy stating how can it take this long to test a phone screen. I was promised my phone back weeks ago. Its now 30/12/15 no phone. I was actaully emailed yesterday telling me that my phone is only now with their "quality assurance" team for testing and might be ready by the end of next week which will be the 09/01/15. Thats 10 days now plus potentially another week... or two.. or three honestly who knows with this company? how long does it take to test whether a new screen works ? seriously what the hell ? Im so sick of this now, I have now emailed asking for my money AND my phone back immediately. They emailed me back offering me £15 saying my phone has already been repaired so they will not refund me. However i feel that the service has been so bad and ive lost so much business from having no mobile phone for the last 2 months that i feel they should offer me all of my money back. TO top this all off they have now completely stopped responding to me emails.

I eventually did get my phone back but it took 8 weeks / 2 months. I sent dozens of emails to foneangels but it never helped, in the end i decided to raise a dispute through paypal and after that things happened a lot quickler, in the end i managed to get 50% refund and my phone back. KEEP ALL OF YOUR EMAILS TO AND FROM FONEANGELS AS YOU WILL NEED THEM AS PAYPAL EVIDENCE IF YOU WANT A REFUND

WANT A REFUND
