[RESOLVED] - I cancelled my automatic membership renewal well in time and was charged again for 6 month

Complaint against Match.com

After 6 month membership I cancelled my automatic renewal well in time and I made sure that I had cancelled it. I went on holidays for 3 weeks and found a paypal invoice for £89.94 subscribing for another 6 month. I rang the relevant telephone number and explained that I had cancelled my membership.The lady from match.com insisted that I had reinstated my membership on the 20th October which I certainly did not do. She insisted as well since the cooling off time had passed she would not be able to refund my payments. I insisted today that she should compleately delete my account. I am waiting for the confirmation now and I hope this is not a lie.

Match.com did not solve the complaint. PayPal solved the problem for me. I got my money back.

PayPal acted on my behalf, match.com did not communicate with me at all. I got my money back through paypal.
