My refund from Expedia is due and company refused to pay up.

Complaint against Expedia

Dear Sir/Madam. To Whom It May Concern. RE-Refund Booking Fares. I booked a package holiday from Expedia.co.uk on the 2nd of May 2015. My booking itinerary reference number is:18685532775. The booking was for two people going out to Naples, Italy on the 9th October 2015. I cancelled that booking on that same day, and I was due for a refund of £162 according to the adviser, I spoke to over the telephone, he also said my refund will go back into my debit card by seven working days. I called a week later, I spoke to another different adviser, he now informed me that because the man that cancelled the booking, cancelled only my booking and didn't cancel the second one so he will now just cancel the second booking and said because the second booking was not cancelled on the 2nd of May, the company will take tax from that booking, and I now told the man this is not my fault, it was the fault of the advisor not to cancel the second booking, this was a group booking, if I say cancel my booking, it means cancel the whole booking because the whole booking was done by one person. That is what is called a Group Booking. Since then, I have spoken to six different customer advisers both men and women. They have all told me that my refund will go back to my debit card within five to seven working days and up to today, ,the 26th May 2015, I have not received a penny yet. The last adviser I spoke to on 20th May, informed that the airline will refund £40 of the £162 to me because of the second booking that was not cancelled the same day as mind, which was the 2nd of May, and I still insisted that it wasn't my fault but the fault of the adviser and Expedia company. Anyway, he said my refund will be in my card after 72 hours and 72 hours expired on the 23rd of May, I am now fed up of calling, being left on the line for 40 minutes, 50 minutes and on the last call, I was on the phone for 1 hour and 20 minutes, this is really frustrating and annoying. Can a manager or somebody higher than an adviser to please explain to me how and when I will get my refund money back. I have been out of pocket because of this, I have had to rebook the flights because the hotel has already taken their money from this holiday package and I have been unable to pay my household bills because the money is stock with Expedia.co.uk I would really appreciate if this matter is resolved as soon as possible, I would be very grateful.
