Complaint against Mercedes-Benz of Maidstone
Last year around this time my car ( EK03UPX) did fail the MOT on Emission. After the investigation the garage told me that Oxygen sensors are at fault require replacement. I asked them to go ahead and fix the problem. Unfortunately they did in my opinion a temporary job just to get through the MOT. Impact of this kind of repair reflected in this year MOT that it failed again on Emission. This time they told me that oil has leaked into the wiring of the engine Harness which is a lengthy job, more money and without the replacement my car would not pass MOT. It costed me double than what had costed me 1st time. I therefore strongly feel that I have been robbed and wasted my time & energy no matter what the garage say now.In addition the Service Manager Mr Wright had told my Insurance company(Warranty Direct) something behind my back who then declined the payment on the basis that repair does not come under warranty. If this does not, then what else would. I am extremely disappointed and feel this garage has the technology without morals or morals without technology. I am a doctor and I have both morals & technology. I simply cannot do to my patients like this. I never imagined reputed mercedes dealers would do something like this. However this matter needs investigation and justice has to be served. I will take this matter further to a body equivalent to Ombudsman in motor industry.
