I paid the outstanding balance given to me by Fone Choice, but apparently the can't find the funds

Complaint against FoneChoice

Phone Fone Choice to find out the settlement amount, which they gave and they gave the bank details where the funds must be deposited into to settle the account. My son who lives in New Zealand, made the deposit of ZAR 2730.00 into the bank account number that Fone Choice provided. After several phone calls and emails to Fone Choice, cannot provide a statement that the funds and outstanding balance have been paid and that the account is now closed. Instead, they keep on requesting a direct depot from my bank and keep on sending demand letters that the account is in arrears. We have send several electronic proofs, including and International deposit slip which is recognised between Banks internationally, but still according to Fone Choice, they can't find the funds in their accounts. Their customer services is so rude and unhelpful and do not know how to resolve this issue, and yet refuse to pass me on to a more senior person who might be able to be in a better position to help. This is absolutely pathetic and they have no interest in solving this issue. I do not know what to do anymore and is thinking of appointing a lawyer to look into this issue for me.
