Charged road tax for SORN'ed vehicle.

Complaint against DVLA

3 days after SORNing my vehicle, I still received my monthly direct debit charge. I had to spend more money calling their premium rate phone number to chase a refund. And now I have to wait 10 working days to actually receive my refund. Disgusting that the DVLA think it's ok to steal money from hard working people and then make them wait to receive back their own money. The email sent 3 days earlier stated in black and white that the direct debit would be cancelled.
