Ref: HDG310791 Operator Booking ref 4799680. We were due to holiday in Gran Canaria on 7/11/15. On the evening of the 6/11/15 we received a phone call from 'holidaydeals2go'stating that our accommodation had been cancelled.We were due to stay at 'Castillo de Sol' a self catering apartment in Puerto Rico. We chose this as we had been there before and all the amenities are near. Apparently we were only offered one alternative a hotel in Las Palmas which was unsuitable, so we had to cancel the holiday. Holidaydeals2go have refunded our money and you have offered £70 compensation each. We are really not happy with this offer, we had a cancelled holiday 13 hrs before we were due to go, the alternative was completely unsuitable,we had both booked a weeks holiday from work which we could not cancel. I find it diffcult to understand why we had such short notice of over booking! I'm sure that if we had cancelled at such notice we would have had to pay all the costs. I would like a copy of your terms and conditions. If we don't receive adequate compensation I do intend to take this further.
