Nadra office mistake

Complaint against Nadra

​ ​I was provided with incorrect information regarding the token and reassured by officers at the Nadra office that it would be sufficient for me to obtain entry into Pakistan. Based on this information, I booked a flight. I even called the nadra office to confirm this and they made it clear this was sufficient. ​ ​However, upon arrival at the Manchester Airport, Etihad airlines did not allow me to board and refused as the token was not sufficient evidence to gain entry into Pakistan. Therefore, i suffered a lot of loss, distress, anxiety and financial loss. ​ ​My uncle from Islamabad went to Nadra office on the same day and spoke to someone regarding at the office at 8am. However, I wasn't showing on their system and therefore they could not confirm anything. ​ ​After obtaining single entry visa I had to buy a new ticket as it was vital that I needed to be in Pakistan. ​ ​Due to this I suffered a lot of stress. I had to further pay for one day visa. I would like to make a complaint and claim the money that I lost due to the error made the by Nadra office. ​- I further seek compensation for the anxiety, stress and loss of time and financial loss suffered do to the misleading information provided. ​ ​If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I found this out online when I was looking to book flights before realising my NICOP was expired, that you need to see whether the stop-over airline would accept your document or ALL airlines for that matter! so you should've checked online on their website, and when you asked Nadra officers - did you tell them about the airlines you will be travelling with, not just getting entry to Pakistan?
