[RESOLVED] - Conned out of £1.03 for a subscription I never used, refund requests ignored

On Thursday 8th Oct 2015 I saw an online article re getting an iPhone 6 for £1. I went to funky and signed up. They sent me a welcome email and at that point I immediately knew I made a mistake so I didn't log into the account created and emailed them I wanted to cancel mentioning I had not logged in and would like a refund of the £1. I got an email saying "Following your request, your subscription created with your email address has been cancelled and it will not be renewed when it expires in the future". On 11th Oct 2015 I emailed back saying they had taken £1.03 from my account for a subscription I did not use. I mentioned I asked for a refund and they ignored that comment and asked them to let me know if they want me to complain / kick up a fuss to get that done and have received no response so far. Such a con, no integrity and so petty...

Please note funkyclock did not resolve this matter and replied today Wednesday 14th Oct that per their terms and conditions the initial fee is non-refundable. I have asked my bank to dispute the fee as the product provided does not match what was described. I also blocked them taking further payments and cancelled the card. Thanks - Patsy
