Complaint against Euro Car Parts

I purchased, by phone, a steering box. I collected it from a local branch the following day and took it to my regular garage for fitting. hours later I collected the vehicle and paid the invoice (cheque). the steering box failed completely less than four miles from the garage. Some internal fault released all of the oil onto the road. By phone eurocarparts offered to replace the item with one located in Glasgow, so five days later I collected it took it to the same garage. the following day I had to return to eurocarparts with the part which had failed to recover £150 which was a surcharge as the item was an exchange part. While I was there the manager took a copy of my additional invoice for £121.50 for thee second fitting but refused to refund the cost. I complained to head office who replied that their terms state "we shall not be liable (to your client?) for any indirect or consequential , special or punitive loss, damage or expenses" they ended "we reserve the right to produce a copy of this letter to the court on the issue of costs." I needed a magnify glass to find this in the terms and conditions, which are printed on the back of the receipt, which I did not receive until after my card transaction was completed. consequential loss is part of the consumer rights in the UK.
