Order made, payment taken - now no order & struggling to get through to cancel
Complaint against World Stores
I placed an order (bulk) after liaising with an advisor via email - they rang and took my payment - I got a text advising would be delivered last Thursday. Then late Thursday another text advising that there was an issue and a courier would be in contact. Nobody has contacted me - I rang and emailed on Friday and eventually got through to somebody who advised they would look into it and get back to me by 8pm Friday. No call received - was on hold for over 2 hours on Saturday 26 Sept and spoke to a lovely advisor who promised to refund my delivery and would get somebody in CS to call me back Monday to resolve my order. No call back - sent further tweets/emails but no communication. Will be calling again after work to sit on hold to attempt to get through to somebody to cancel my order. Scared I have lost hundreds of pounds and the lack of communication is causing me anxiety and stress. I was informed that the company was having issues with its warehouse and stock but that this was due to be resolved and they were just experiencing a back log - when I get through they appear to be helpful but nothing positive has come from this and i am still left without a product and without my money.
