Cecilia Moyo: 1/5 Stars 31/08/2017 Dismissal without cause I started a course with learn direct and everything was ok, until the tutors kept changing. It was hard to get in contact with any tutors and when I did, the tutors were very rude and not helpful. I was taken off the course because I submitted my assignment twice, which is not a proper reason to take me off the course. I was taken off the course by learn direct, while they were still taking money from student finance as if I was still on the course . I spoke to student finance about it and they said all it takes is an email to say I'm no longer on the course. This will enable student finance to stop sending funds and I would be able to do another course elsewhere . Could not get in touch with a particular person, who I was able to get in touch with quite easily. Every time I called, receptionist would answer, leave, come back and say he's not there and he's on holiday. For 3 weeks I've been trying , still on holiday which he wasn't . When I finally got a hold of him, he said he will tell student finance but of course he didn't. Weeks went by as they collected money from student finance, pretending like I'm still on the course. Up to today, I can't get a simple letter from learn direct to say why I was taken off the course as I'm unable to start another course until they do so. 2 weeks later and I'm still waiting, calling every day , cannot get through to him. Still waiting . Who can i complain to about learn direct as something needs to be done about this company ? Learndirect has not yet responded. Dean Neill: 1/5 Stars 10/05/2017 LearnDirect is UNPROFESSIONAL I went on a 2 week course with LearnDirect for 2 weeks for a guaranteed interview to be a Passenger Liaison within an airport. I completed the 2 weeks went for my interview got told LearnDirect will let me know on friday.(2 days) after 3 days i was still sitting round waiting and i had tried texting/phoning my tutor, After 2 weeks i ended up getting in touch the department manager who informed me that i didn't get the job because the company said i wouldn't be able to get the 5 years background check when i had just previously left a job within the airport which required this. So then the manager says that is really odd i will chase that up for you and get back in touch with you. To this day still haven't heard anything even after the tutors feed you a lot of talk of don't worry even if you're not successful at the interview we have lots of courses after this and we will not stop till we find you work. Kenneth Mackenzie: 1/5 Stars 13/10/2015 My son attended the Life in UK exam today and they would not let him sit the exam We arranged for my son and wife to sit their life in the UK exam today at 11:30 here in Edinburgh. We had all the correct documents and their biometric immigration cards which showed their ID photo, original country of birth, Date of birth. They also had a stamped bank statement showing our new address one for my sons bank card and my wife and I have a joint account. My son went first and all we heard was I am sorry I cant let you sit the test. When my son came out he was very flustered as this is a very stressful time. The lady said my son did not know his post code. Learndirect has not yet responded. Subheksha: 1/5 Stars 10/07/2017 Rude behaviour The receptionist who checked my documents had rude approach from beginning till the end. I believe instructions can be given nicely without making it sound like some sorts of command. Learndirect has not yet responded.
