Complaint against A Shade Greener

We are halfway into a contract with this company. Arranging the annual service is bad enough. But my recent experience is enough for me to wish I could afford to get out of my contract with them. In conjunction with the recent bad weather, the boiler stopped working on the 28th Feb. At first it was impossible to get hold of anyone at their office and it wasn't until the 5th March that an engineer attended in which time there was no power to the boiler becsuse it had blown a fuse. Engineer said until WE could restore power to the boiler he couldnt do anything and left. I thought this very unhelpful considering it was his boiler that had caused the power fault. We sorted the power and another engineer attended on the 6th March who concluded we need a new boiler. So another engineer was booked for the 8th March. When he arrived we were looking forward to another boiler being installed and finally some heat in the house. However there was no boiler, he had been instructed to replace the PCB. Well that didn't work and he concluded also that we need a new boiler. On Sunday 11th March , 12th day without heat we finally had a replacement boiler installed. In those 12 days my partner and 6 year old son have suffered much stress in dealing with the situation and temperatures of -8 , the house was intollerable and in a different situation an insurance company would have put us in a hotel. Unfortunately the boiler is still owned by A Shade greener so that wasnt happening. It has cost us financially with having to eat out, going to the laundrette to dry clothes and the cost of buying an element and timer to fit in the hot water tank so that we had hot water through an immersion heater. I have tried calling them again to explain all this but they think they have done a good job and duty of care. Only the customer can be a good judge of that. Apparently the girl on the customer service helpline is the highest you can speak to. I asked WHO runs the company she said no one. We are owned by shareholders. I said someone has to run/manage the company. She said no. There, may be the problem with this company. No one at the helm. And very poor customer care.
