Complaint against Easytobook
Booked and paid for named 4* hotel in Las Palmas for a week in January 2016. Few days later get garbled message on my mobile. Difficult to understand. Gets home checks email. Easytobook have made a mistake in the booking. Now want to offer a substitute 3* hotel. Speaking to call centre in India was difficult. You could easily see they wanted me to cancel. Got to top of CS chain in Amsterdam and spoke with Mia. Got absolutely nowhere. My position was flexible in that if it was their mistake they should at the very least try to substitute the hotel with one of the same class (4*). You could tell they wanted me to cancel. Got nowhere so cancelled. Refund took a week.
