Dripping tundish on water cylinder.
Complaint against RIGHTIO
Drip noticed in tundish of water cylinder. Plumber came same day felt a few pipes, tried to pump up the air bladder in expansion tank (without draining it) and diagnosed that it was unserviceable. He then detailed how he would source the replacement parts and return to fit later that week, exact dates tbc. This took approx 15 mins so felt very rushed and wishywashy also he didn't have his own pump to use. Then he took another 15 mins to fill in the paperwork which was comprised of a one line diagnoses. Which I was to find out later that he was charging for this time, this explains his small talk. He stated on several occasions that I would have 40 mins remaining in which he could fit the replacement expansion tank. He stated he would call in a couple of days to confirm details. Nothing heard in 3 work days so called Rightio. No progress on ticket and passed to the engineers to receive a call back. Nothing heard! Repeated the process a few times all with the same outcome. Some of the staff even stated the job was closed. Absolutely rubbish service with equally bad (in my instance) tradesman. Oh did I mention the part required online cost £48 delivered but he quoted £98. Companies and tradesman like this is why the industry gets a reputation for being cowboys. Definitely saving the anguish next time and going British gas.
