Complaint against Silver Saints
Whilst the actual handymen (sub-contracted by SS) were very nice and personable, Stewart Leadley from the After Sales dept was rude and quite unhelpful. I informed SS that I am pregnant but this seems not to have had any impact on their ability or willingness to resolve this faster than ordinarily. Seamus Graham (MD) sends an automated request for feedback after each job but I have yet to hear from him having detailed my complaint and asked him to get in touch to discuss. It has taken 3 handymen and over a week to diagnose the problem (heating element to be replaced in water heater) and a further 5/6 days to arrange an appointment for the replacement to be fitted. This means I have been without any hot water at all for almost 2 weeks. When asked if they can guarantee it will be fixed, there was no response from Andrew and merely ignoring the question. A disappointing and upsetting experience after a very positive first experience 2/3 months ago.
