Complaint against Purple Bricks Estate Agents

After several failed attempts due to lack of accessibility and communication and tenants giving up waiting for purple bricks a tenancy was agreed but tenant failed all checks so it was agreed they would pay 12 months up front, plus deposit and fees. Purple bricks then told me I would still only get this monthly and not in full up front. Tenant was given the key before I agreed and before I received any cash. Turns out purple bricks had key them move in after paying only one month, not even a deposit, and certainly not to me. The tenant then discovered a problem with the boiler. I agreed that the repair could be carried out but as I couldn't afford the repair bill, it had to be based on me paying any invoice once is received rent (12 months)...... The work was carried out and yet tenant, who had signed a 12 month agreement, decided he did not want to proceed. He had his belongings there for anything between one and four weeks. I have told purple bricks in not happy to break the contract, yet they have emailed saying it was agreed began tenant and landlord.... I've asked for pro rata rent to cover utility bills during that period despite not agreeing to end contract. Purple bricks say ill get nothing and I'm liable for repairs bills despite me stating I would not have had works carried out if the house was going to sit empty...... And after all this..... I still don't have the door key back...... I have no idea if the tenant is still there I will be taking legal action
