Complaint against Purple Bricks Estate Agents
My home has been on the market since May 2017. The agent was helpful at first. I had at the time tenants in the property. The agent took photos that were not very professional, my tenants kept pet rats in a cage they were displayed in the photos. My tenant moved out I had to meet agent and tell him the best photos to take. The correspondence received from Purple bricks was poor. The viewing started off well, then I was told to reduce offer. Still no hard sell. I decided to bring in a local estate agent, who immediately increased the price. They took professional photos. They took over since last December. I have had more views from them in three months than Purple bricks in ten months. Now I have a bill to pay at the end of March for £1300 unbeknown to me its a loan company, so I have a loan to pay for doing virtually nothing. I'm a pensioner how am I going to pay this. I emailed the company and offered to make payments that I could just afford but am told that I must pay £ 425 a month and the bill has to be paid by end of May. I expected to pay for photos, ect, but what is all this money for. This company is making money out of venerable people who have put their trust in yourselves. Times are hard enough.
