Complaint against Purple Bricks Estate Agents
The advertising to sell houses more than any other agent was misleading. Checked with Right move and Zoopla houses sold locally infact nil by Purple Bricks, and only one in the last year near my daughter in Essex. Online application does not include extra commissions paid at point of sale so commission cost misleading. Right to cool off period denied as the stage three left out and photos of your property are posted to you. As soon as you click on the image you have negated any right to a cool off period. I still have not received a copy of what I signed up to, what bank account details I gave on line. I think this omission was deliberate. After sales service was non existent, the online platform has faults which I pointed out early on with screen saves, but the complaint was never addressed. My complaint was not fully addressed by Purple Bricks and I have now contacted Watchdog, and the Property Ombudsman and I suggest that anybody with a complaint also do so. I have also sent links of this site and the Purplebrickssucks.com site out on social media and will continue to do so until this is fully resolved and to highlight to other consumers the problems with using this estate agent.
