[LAPSED] Incorrect measurements, faulty units and poor customer service

Complaint against Wren Kitchens

Unfinished utility room due to incorrect measurements and design, customer service has been non existent due to the store not being interested and Manager washing his hands of our issue - managers words to my husband was "good luck" sent complaint letter today - we have had to pay an additional £500 to finish utility, although due to poor design it is still not finished.

Dear Mrs Tweed, We have been given a full account of events that have led you to leave this negative review about the service you have received from Wren Kitchens. The designer made an error with 2 x units being selected incorrectly on the planner as Extra Tall. As a supply only customer, while your kitchen may have been measured and designed by one of our trained kitchen designers, as you have bought your kitchen on a supply only basis, liability for all final checks regarding measurements

and products supplied transfers from Wren Kitchens to yourselves and your appointed installer. We ask that a prefit survey is undertaken before your order is delivered to ensure that no mistakes are made and that everything needed to complete your kitchen fit is ordered. A prefit survey is industry standard and occurs with all Wren installations. Should this have taken place then we would have been aware of any changes necessary and been in a position to make any changes before delivery.

Your designer organised and paid for an installer to modify the affected units only as a goodwill gesture and when the installer arrived you expected them to install the whole utility including appliances, wall units, decors and worktops. The installer carried out the authorised works only. You raised this with the designer and she organised another fitter to attend to carry out some works, again as a goodwill gesture as the contract is supply only and therefore Wren are not liable for the

Installation of the kitchen/utility. The showroom management advised that we are not responsible for completing the installation for you due to this small error and the designer has gone over and above her call of duty in rectifying this therefore we will not be providing any further installation to yourselves as per the contract that has been agreed between yourselves and Wren Kitchens.
