Complaint against Wren Kitchens
Our kitchen is being installed as I write this with workmen downstairs. The kitchen has cost in excess of 21k - ok, our choice as we have doubled the footprint from a smaller kitchen! We were told by the branch in Romford that once you put deposit down, your prices are locked in. Long story short, we put down for a deposit for a wine cooler fridge which was coming @ approx. 1k for price match against other sellers. When we finalised the invoice - that was changed to nearly £1600. We are now told that as we signed the contract, they are not liable as they matched it against another fridge on the final contract. The contract is 23 pages long, you are relying on the so called experts who are brilliant at their patter but no so brilliant at their jobs! However, when Wren delivered the kitchen and the mistakes they made in delivery item, which is holding up my fitters and that won't be sent till later in the week - well, their attitude to their mistake is - c'est la vie!! How typical! Please, please, please, find other suppliers and company - Wrens are not worth the sign they display over their shop window. My brother is having his kitchen installed in next 18 months - guess who he is NOT going with??? The customer service is rude - unhelpful - condescending - snooty! Those in the market for a new kitchen - IKEA have some wonderful colours and styles!
