Complaint against First Advanced Preservation
Initial damp proofing work was completed by the company but when further work was identified a few days later and paid for up front in good faith, Mr Gray subsequently made excuse after excuse and failed to turn up on several occasions as agreed, citing van problems and visits to hospital. He has also failed to remove the rubble and waste from the initial job which was left on my driveway and had to be disposed of myself. Due to the urgency of the job, we had to seek an alternative company to complete the work after several weeks, and Mr Gray is now refusing to return the £240 paid to him up front. The issue is now with Trading Standards. Very very poor experience overall - do not use this company.
