[LAPSED] Unable to cancel Zavvi's ZBOX

Complaint against Zavvi

I receive an email from Zavvi advertising 3 ZBOX's for £29. So I placed an order, and received an email that specified that this was a 3 month subscription. So I received the 3 boxes, one each month, and had a great experience. Unfortunately, once the 3 months were up, Zavvi took £60 out of my bank account. I contacted them through email as they don't have a contact phone number, and they explained that this was an auto renewal of the 3 months subscription. I told them I didn't want the boxes and wanted a refund. After many emails they said that they couldn't do anything and i would have to wait 3 months to cancel. So I wait 2 and a half months, bringing me to now, I emailed Zavvi again and told them to cancel and ensure that no more money comes from the account. I have now been told that I am outside the 14 day cancellation period and they can cancel it for me next time. So I tried to remove my payment details from the online account, and get an error message saying it cannot be done. This has been going on for the better part of a year now, and it is horrible. I cannot believe they can just keep taking money out of my account and sending me these terrible boxes
