Complaint against My Geek Box

I cancelled my account in October. The current subscription was due to run out in November. I then get an invoice for a new 3 month renewal. I contacted them to cancel it but was told I couldn't cancel until the end of the new 3 month period and would not be able to get a refund. I did get my money back eventually but it took some hounding, and I had to copy & paste correspondence from My Geek Box to prove what I was told. Their online system is so woefully bad that you can't reply to emails but have to log in and do it in a very long-winded fashion, presumably to put customers off from contacting in the first place. A shame as I would possibly have renewed again next year but definitely will not be ever again.

Hello Jennifer, We're sorry to hear about your experience, we do state on the website if you no longer require the subscription then this does need to be cancelled as it automatically renews. I can see from your account that a cancellations has been successful and no further boxes after the 3 months will be sent to you. Many thanks

I did cancel, numerous times. Thankfully it was resolved after quite a few emails from yourselves, and a lot of time spent by myself trawling through your website trying to find the contact button (You really should allow customers to email directly, or at least reply to emails directly).

Money was refunded. So happy in that sense, but will never use the service again.
