Complaint against My Geek Box

I placed an order for 2 items on Nov 30th and was told there was 2-3day dispatch time. After 8 days I was finally notified that 1 item had been dispatched. On day 10 I messaged them about the second item. Which they then told me was dispatched. Day 11 the first item arrived. Day 18 still no sign of the second item (which was a Xmas jumper ordered for my son to wear for TEXT Santa day). After getting no reply, I was blocked on Facebook for mentioning the poor service and communication. Finally I got a reply saying that the item was 'Despatched' on Dec 10th but will not be considered lost until 14 days (Xmas Eve) at which point it will be as much use as t**s on a teapot

I received my refund today. From the order placed on November 30th. The item? Still never arrived, I believe it was never sent. The website itself will not allow for uploading the form required for a replacement product (not refund) and I was forced to bring it to an open forum. Any questions, queries or negative comments will get you blocked from the complains Facebook, rather than addressing issues avoidance and the hope you will go away is the business model here.

As requested by MyGeekBox I waited until the 24th December. No jumper arrived so I contacted them again. Today I received a reply directing my to print and complete a non receipt form. The form says that a replacement item will be sent out (because who doesn't want a xmas jumper that will be too small by next xmas to arrive at some point?) and that I may be subject to investigation by the carriers security and THE POLICE if they think it is a fraudulent claim! Fraud allegations from fraudsters!

I finally received a refund. However it was down to my compliant here rather than their own site. I still believe they are selling things they don't have and then fobbing people off. As is clear all over Twitter (obviously harder to block nay sayers there than on Facebook). Overall a satisfactory result for me and a learning experience about checking out a company before purchasing anything. Shame on My Geek Box for exploiting the loyal geek masses and newer film inspired fans.
