Complaint against My Geek Box

On 2nd Dec, I placed an order for a year's subscription to My Geek Box as Christmas present. No box arrived by 14th Dec. I went on my MyGeekBox account, which stated that the first box had been dispatched on 7th Dec. Tried to contact MGB to ask what is happening. They have no email address and no phone number - which is very odd, if not illegal. Plus, I could not send a message to them via their website. The 'Send a Message' link was blocked, or frozen (probably a technical term for this). So, I sent a message via FaceBook. Received a response - saying that first box due to be dispatched between 15th and 20th. No comment on why it says dispatched on 7th on my account. And annoyingly I was told that MGB website was live and they had no problems in receiving messages from customers through their website. I tried from 3 different servers and two different computers - so very clearly fault their end. I then said (via Facebook again) that I was now very dubious about My Geek Box and wanted to cancel my subscription. I received the following today - via Facebook messaging - " I have now requested the cancellation for you, as we dispatch all boxes between the 15th and 20th of the month you will receive this months box, if you can let us know once this months box arrives with you we can then provide the relevant returns details upon return a refund will be processed for the box." No reply yet to my response which was as follows:- "I want an email from My Geek Box NOW confirming that my order has been cancelled AND that I have been refunded. It is not enough to say via Facebook that you have 'requested the cancellation'. Plus, as I am unable to contact you through your website, how will I let you know that the box has arrived and how will I be able to provide the relevant returns details? Do I do this via Facebook again? THIS IS VERY VERY weird." I have contacted my bank to stop payment, and they will help getting me a refund.

Have just received a refund of £181.50 which is £16.38 less than I paid for a 12month subscription to MyGeekBox. I assume this is to cover the first box. I haven't received this box, and don't want it anyway. When will My Geek Box refund this £16.38 now outstanding? Thanks to A spokesman said, it looks as though my complaint of My Geek Box is largely resolved. Though I would like to know why you have neither contact phone number or email address - this is dodgy practice, if not illegal.
