[RESOLVED] - Pram folded whilst my son was sleeping in it.

Complaint against Joie Baby

I purchased a Joie Litetrax 4 Wheel travel system from Online4baby in November 2016 awaiting the arrival of my son in March 2017. We purchased the pram based on the easy one hand fold system. We have only been using the pram since March and it's been great until the couple of weeks ago when the pram locked up when trying to unfold it. Now it happens almost everytime but that's not the issue. I took my son for walk today and he was fast asleep in the pram until it folded back on itself with my son still in it! Now I have contacted Online4baby who just ratted out the process and that the pram has to be tested which can take up to 7 days. They also informed me that if Joie deem that there's no manufacturing fault I would be liable for any courier costs. I explain to the customer service agent who took the call that this should not have happened but I obviously don't want to risk owning a pram that has put my sons life in danger! I have simply asked for Online4baby to either refund me or offer me an exchange for another pram and I would happily pay whatever difference. The point is Online4baby and Joie should have the obligation to rectify the matter but complying with my request as this fault should not have occurred! Can someone from either Online4baby or Joie contact me so I can have this clearly concerning issue resolved asap.
