Failure to rectify a fault
Complaint against The Watch Lab
I bought a ladies fossil wristwatch from the watch lab in Chester in January 2014. In April 2014, the numeral 2 fell off, inside the casing. I returned to the shop and they fixed in while I waited, by pushing it back in place. It took about 5 minutes. It was done free of charge. In June this year, the same numeral fell off. I returned to watch lab, who told me it would need gluing and bonding and would cost £35. I told them that had it been done properly originally, I.e. Glued and bonded it would not have fallen off for a second time. They refused to fix the fault free of charge.
