Complaint against Sofology

Avoid this company there after sales service is disgraceful once they have your money they are not interested. Bought the chiltern range 4 seater sofa chair and footstool arrived with underside of sofa torn this was rectified by repair quickly then seat pad on chair developed a large dent in centre after 8 weeks numerous emails and calls seat pad foam replaced.. on same day exactly same happened to replacement only worse (sofa cushions no problem with)they said was a dressing issue and I was to aerate cushion overnight also give it a good whack also instructions on the union jack method (unzip cushion and make union jack shape inside!) While I appreciate flipping cushion regularly the above was to be done several times day and they thought this was acceptable!! Eventually after several complaints they sent out a apparent independent upholster from homeserve he stated that it wasn't a manufacturing fault more of a design issue as the foam pad is not really suitable for the depth of the chair and it would be rectified by a medium strength foam cushion .Sofology have now told me that as not manufacturing fault and they only use the one type of foam interior there is nothing they are prepared to do so if you want a decent interior to your furniture AVOID THIS COMPANY go elsewhere absolutely disgraceful customer service from a shoddy company
