I ordered clothing on 6.7.16. I received it by post on 11.7.16. I returned it as it was unsuitable. Things got left until 2.9.16 when I noticed on my bank statements that I hadn't received the refund for the returned items. I emailed customer services to explain the situation. I had an automated reply saying it would be looked into and I would hear from them within 48 hours. I waited over a week for a proper reply then sent another email to customer services to ask why I was being messed about with the refund owed to me. I had another automated reply with the same message. I waited over 48 hours again then contacted them again. The reply I was given didn't make a lot of sense, as the wording and mistakes appeared to be typed by someone under the influence of alcohol (although that is just my opinion) It said I should contact my bank to check the amount of money. Which I'd already stated the amount. My statements show no sign of the refund from them. They also said they now acknowledge the return of the items and will contact their payments dept; and sort out options of how to repay the refund to me. the date that was emailed to me was 25.9.16. I can not understand why the refund can't just be put back into my account, why would they need to find other options. I'm totally baffled as to why this has become something massive, when it is so straight forward. Thank you for your time.
