I ordered some flowers for my friends funeral for the 17th October, a summer bouquet. The day before the funeral I received an email from Lillian Rose saying that they could not deliver my flowers as they were unsuitable for a funeral as they were boxed. They had this order for about a week before the funeral so why didn't they say this then. I rang Lillian Rose to discuss and I said I would like a posy doing with pink roses. I had already paid £23.99 and they wanted another £8.60 which I paid. On the day of the funeral when we were at the cemetery I looked for the flowers that we had sent and could not believe it. All it was, was 3 pink roses on a leaf that was falling apart and the roses were nearly dead. I was very upset by this mess. I emailed Lillian Rose as soon as I had left the funeral. All they have done is fob me off, ask me to take a picture of the flowers, I was at a funeral and it was a burial I don't think it would be appropriate to start taking photos do you? I paid nearly £32 for 3 dead roses. Also the card that was on the flowers had " North Essex Forklifts" on God knows who they are, it certainly was not anything to do with my friend who had passed away. They also emailed me but put it to my deceased friend who was called Eva Gray. I'm disgusted with this florists and there customer care is nil. I want my full money back as I feel upset by the whole episode and hurt that the flowers I sent to my friends funeral were pathetic.
