Complaint against viagogo

Has anyone got any advice for me. I bought 2 Tyson fury tickets in May for the fight on the 9th July. That was postponed and rearranged for the 29th October. I had no emails from Viagogo only after I logged in to my account and sent a query about if the fight had been cancelled! The response I got the day after was demanding I return the tickets as I had already fail to do so, by the 24th of October. I hadn't had a email asking for the return of the tickets previous to my query. I have searched high and low for theta keys but cannot find them. I email Viagogo to tell them I had lost the tickets and ask how I go about getting a refund but they say I cannot be refund unless I provide the tickets! Is this correct??? The event has been cancelled so do they really need the tickets back???? Any advice pls??? I have all emails from Viagogo and have all payment details on record, I have briefly read the terms and conditions and am sure they (Viagogo) hold the money back from the seller until the event has a success, then they pay the seller. So in my eyes it's them that owe me a refund regardless if I have the tickets or not the event has been cancelled and will not be happening. HELP PLS
